The Susan McDonald Band is performing in Le Cabaret at Paris. The sound is the key as the voices and music created by Pete Sprague, Sean Barney and Steve Grantham combine with the luscious tones of Sue's own voice. The blend is as delicious as a Mocha Chocolata ya ya. It takes an act of this caliber to precede the incredible Cat Daddy whose extended run in the same venue has set a record at nearly two years. Both bands really draw the crowds and the occasional tribute en francais is always there to make you feel like you are really in Paris.

Shelly Taylor performs jazz stylings from her new CD nightly in the Baccarat Bar beneath the thatched roof at the Mirage. Moving to LV from the bay area three years ago, she has found a new home in the best city of them all. Her crystalline voice and impeccable piano combine for that perfect background to a rendezvous or business chat. The new CD, titled "Sugar" is a mental journey into a smoky, bluesy nightclub but when you awaken your there in tropical splendor. Friday through Sundays, she plays from 3:30 - 8:15 and Monday and Tuesdays from 5:30 - 10:15 pm. Drop in and check out this drop-dead talent!

Thursday night Blues series at Boulder Station continues through June from 8 - 11 pm and don't forget the classic rock sounds of Yellow Brick Road every Friday and Saturday from 11 pm.

The Crystal Lounge at the Las Vegas Hilton is off and running and the already jovial audience leaving comedian Paul Rodriguez' show was knocked out by the exciting dance and Latin rhythms performed by Copacabana aka Angelstar. The beautiful voice and presence of Elisa Furr and the immense vocal and musical talents of Nino Angelastro shined as never before. Coming this weekend is Joy Ride, an exciting new group that also does everything from Earth, Wind & Fire, to high energy Latin artists like Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Enrique Iglesias, Mark Anthony, and more. Show times are Thursdays from 8 - 1 and Friday and Saturday from 9 - 2 am. This is the hottest new lounge in town!

Five-time Grammy Award winners, The Neville Brothers, head into the Wayne Newton Theater at The Star- dust from May 30 - June 1. The New Orleans based family has been creating magical music since 1953 with songs like "The Mardi Gras Mambo" to the more recent "Tell it Like it Is." Tickets are a very reasonable $29.95 and available through the Stardust Box Office at (702) 732-6325.

LF8 just left Voodoo Lounge for the sister property Harrah's and are performing in the best outdoor lounge in Vegas, The Camaval Court. Their good looks and great dance moves and vocals are making them Vegas favorites, especially with the ladies. These guys never miss the mark when they hit the stage. Check out the flair bartenders whirling their bottles and flames too!
