The stage is set, the clock strikes 12, and your Midnight Fantasy begins. The sensuous and lovely dancers engage in a series of seductive dreamscapes, beginning in ancient Egypt and traveling forward to modern erotica. Each number tantalizes as the stylish choreography moves their bodies through the enticing scenarios. Impressionist extraordinaire, Sean Cooper, enters as a record scratchin' DJ / Break Dancer, but the howls come when he returns in caricatures of Tina Turner and Sammy Davis, Jr. Multi-talented comedian and writer, John Padon, is the perfect comedian for this style review as he darts in and out of risque and current topical humor, testing the audience's "whoa" quotient and then saying, "Loosen up people, you're at a topless show", you can't be that conservative! Producer Anita Mann has done another great job and unfortunately, time can't stand still forever and Midnight Fantasy ends about ninety min-utes later. (Actual showtimes: 8:30 & 10:30 on Tues. Thurs, & Sat., Wed. & Fri. at 10:30, and Sun. 8:30 pm.)

It's time to "get your groove on" with Groove City, the kickin' new dance band that is appearing at the Golden Nugget Lounge. The dance party and show takes place every night with their all-live sounds that will have the entire Nile River pulsating and gyrating to the grooves. Lead singer, Kenny Jones, is a show by himself, movin', groovin' and singing with recording artist quality. Johnny McClain, lead guitar/vocals, Barry Williams, Keys/vocals, John Caldwell, bass/vocals and Larry McClure, drums, comprise the group that hail from Chicago, Kansas City and Houston. Their combined musical backgrounds in performing, producing and recording have brought together a unique sound and blend second to no other R&B band in the city. From 70's disco to today's high-energy dance hits, this band does it all the way!

The Second City has a comedy empire second to none and has been a major force in the industry for over 40 years. Founded in Chicago in 1959, they have a new home here at The Flamingo - Las Vegas. The troupe has spawned such comedy greats as Mike Nichols, Alan Arkin, Joan Rivers, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, John Candy, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and many more. The unique show combines music, scene and improvisation to present satires of politics, sex, religion and other every day situations. The cast is extremely talented and the audience interaction creates the flow of the dialogue so no two shows are ever alike. Kay Cannon, Mary Pat Farrell, Mike Lukas, Jason Sudeikis and Mike Lukas did a tremendous job of entertaining our group and who knows, maybe one of these great talents will show up on Saturday Night Live very soon!

Dueling Pianos are rockin' the nights away at the incredible New York / New York Hotel & Casino. The shows start nightly at 8 pm and go until 2 am with the greatest sing-a-long party in the nation. From classic rock to current pop, and everything in between!
