"Tease", a brand new show at The Blue Note - Las Vegas, is a vast departure from the usual jazz fare associated worldwide with that venue, and also a departure from the typical Vegas show as well. If you think, "A Chorus Line" goes wa-a-y off Broadway to Vegas, you're close to the theme of "Tease", which portrays the nightly life, trials and exploitations of the "Gentlemen's Club Dancer". Five talented female singer dancers, plucked from various casino lounge and show stages deliver the original score in a believable, humorous and provocative combination of musical theater and mild strip-tease. Their male characters include a wise-cracking bus-boy obligatory Vegas Elvis, the no nonsense DJ/club manager, and the "John" whose bachelor party at the club turns his pending nuptials into a mere apparition. We wish this risky production success if only for their originality and the strong talent on the stage.

The Peter Monroy Band takes the stage high above the city in the Rio Hotel's Voodoo Lounge. The band presents high-energy, cutting edge music that will party the night away, and the repertoire is that and then some. The Peter Monroy Band brings to the stage, all the current styles of music covering groups like Creed, Shaggy, Incubus, Lifehouse and Matchbox 20. That's in addition to their ability to perform the hits of Santana, Lou Rawls, KC & The Sunhine Band and the likes. Fueled by Peter's powerful vocals, the group also features the sex-suous vocals and dancing of Cecilia Serano and Melissa Armstrong. With Kevin Woodall on guitar, "Jazzy" on Keys, David Brock groovin' on the drums and Jason Meadows on bass, the band is as cool as they come. You-doo check out this guy at the Voodoo!

The Empire Bar has closed for re-modeling and the action has moved to the legendary Bar at Times Square, home of the world famous Dueling Pianos at New York / New York. The party starts with solo and duo acts such as Kevin Baker, John Garder, Bobby Dickerson and more at 3 pm until 7 pm. Then at 8 pm, Chris Nelson, Mike Cavanaugh, Phyllis Griffin, Ray Glover, Conrad Hawthorne, John Jones, and others rock out at the dual Dueling Pianos. It is the most interactive, fun Rock 'n' Roll show where the audience can sing and dance and go wild!

The Regent Hotel in Summerlin is now the beautiful new, Marriott Las Vegas Golf & Spa Resort. They feature nightly entertainment in the Round Bar with great pop and jazz solo and duo acts (Sun. - Wed.) and variety bands in Addison's Show Lounge, this week starring Wildlife on Thursday - Saturday. The upscale resort has fabulous rooms, incredible food and all the amenities expected at a Marriott. Great times both on and off the course are the plans for the future!

Popular R & B act, Klass 1 appears nightly in La Scena Lounge at the Venetian Hotel & Casino. Nightly entertainment from 4 p - 2:30 am!
