Inspired by the spirit of The Beatles and created by Cirque du Soleil, The Beatles REVOLUTION Lounge is set to open this month at The Mirage, only six months after the high-profile launch of The Beatles "LOVE" show.
Revolutionary in design and atmosphere, this ultra-lounge with capacity for 400 people will feature cutting edge, interactive experiences to create a psychedelic sensory environment and a contemporary interpretation of The Beatles era.

This is the first time Cirque du Soleil draws upon their innovative talent to create a unique nightlife experience in Las Vegas. REVOLUTION will be operated by INK, the premier nightclub operator in Toronto, currently managing seven nightlife complexes in Canada.
The Abbey Road Bar, located in front of the main entrance of REVOLUTION, will be open from 11am daily. The REVOLUTION Lounge will be open nightly from 5 p.m. until 5 a.m. Each night will be an evolutionary journey with a specific musical direction. DJs will make a musical progression through the evening from strictly Beatles music, to funky lounge remixes, house, rock, electro, new wave and Brit pop.
Criss Angel MINDFREAK - The Official Store @ Luxor is now open. Dubbed "the new Houdini," Angel is the star of A&E Network's "Criss Angel MINDFREAK." The Luxor Resort is the home for the third season of the critically acclaimed "Criss Angel MINDFREAK." Filming began early in November for the 28 episodes that will begin airing next spring.
Criss Angel's new store at the Luxor carries a variety of Angel MINDFREAK logo-merchandise such as CDs, DVDs, T-shirts, posters and much more. The store will feature jeweled items including key chains, earrings and necklaces made with Swarovski crystals and copies of Angel's logo necklace. Angel will make unannounced in-store appearances.
"Hitzville The Show" starring Jin-Jin Reeves and a cast of talented performers takes you on a journey through time with the best of Motown at the Las Vegas Hilton's Shimmer Cabaret. Reeves has performed worldwide and shared the stage with Gladys Knight, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Barry White, Luis Miguel, Keith Washington and Bob Hope, as well as having featured performances on the Emmy Awards and in the soundtracks "Sister Act 2" and "Friday."
The Westin Casuarina just off the Strip on East Flamingo Road has completed a revamp of its signature restaurant to reflect a contemporary sophistication that's in tune with the hotel's classical retro theme. Formerly the Silver Peak Grill, Suede has undergone cosmetic improvements to create a more upscale and intimate dining experience, while the menu now features a number of updated classics.
Suede's 200-seat dining room offers booth seating. Dark woods, light brown suede covered booths with matching menu covers and muted lighting with blue tones and beverage glasses create a sleek, sophisticated atmosphere. A private secluded dining room seats 30.
The hotel also has appointed a new executive chef. Executive Chef, Michel V. Re has served in various key positions including the Beverly Hills Country Club, and the Flamingo, Bally's and Paris hotels in Las Vegas.
Mi Casa Grill Cantina is the new Mexican-inspired restaurant at the Silverton located three miles south of Mandalay Bay at I-15 and Blue Diamond Road. As the latest Silverton dining experience, Mi Casa delivers authentic and original Mexican cuisine. Mi Casa is open for lunch and dinner and the lounge is open 24 hours.
Mi Casa also boasts a tequila bar with 65 tequilas, featuring several of the most rare, aged and popular brands available. In addition, a resident "Tequila Temptress" guides guests through the selection process and introduces new and different flavors to enhance meals and the dining experience.

The three-day festival of speed and entertainment will feature the season-opening race in the Champ Car World Series, a historic Grand Prix race, along with support racing events, boxing matches, concerts, expos and a celebrity poker tournament. The April 8 Champ Car World Series race will feature open-wheel cars reaching speeds of up to 180 miles per hour around a 2.44-mile, 12-turn temporary street course on and around "Glitter Gulch" in the heart of downtown Las Vegas.
Admission into the event site is free. To access the seating areas with premium views of the race track, to view Jumbotron video boards of live race action and enjoy daytime concerts, patrons will need to be in a ticketed grandstand area. All grandstand seats on the Fremont Street Experience side of downtown are general admission and the seats on Grand Central Parkway, by the World Market Center, are reserved seats with pit and paddock access. General admission seats in advance are $12 for Friday, $29 for Saturday and $44 for Sunday. In advance, a three-day general admission ticket is $70. Three-day reserved grandstand purchase tickets are priced from $140- $175 and include pit and paddock access; advance pricing not available.
Paddock passes when purchased in advance are $20 per day or $40 for three days. The paddock area is a separate area where all teams prepare their racecars and house their equipment, race transporters and spare racecars. Pit walk-through passes are priced in advance at $10 per day.
Admission to the VIP Hospitality Club is available for $1,350 for all three days and includes all food and beverages catered by Wolfgang Puck Catering, premium view suite seating on the front straight, paddock and pit access along with concierge services and a fashion show.

The MGM Grand Spa recently added a new high-tech treatment to its expansive menu. SpaGen evaluates the physical well being of guests through customized DNA analysis. PURE Nightclub inside Caesars Palace has arranged for singer Britney Spears to host the club's New Year's Eve party. Also celebrating PURE's second anniversary, DJ Hollywood will be providing the beats as Spears provides the countdown and a club-wide champagne toast to ring in 2007.

The Beach Boys will bring their uplifting surf-rock sound to the Luxor Theater Dec. 25 - 31 at 8 p.m. Mike Love, one of the original members, joins the tour and will perform all the group's well-known hits.

The Amazing Johnathan Show at the Sahara will be dark Dec. 22 through 29. His performances are at 10 p.m. nightly except Thursday in the Congo Room.
Mystic Falls Park, an indoor 25,000-square-foot atrium, inside Sam's Town on Boulder Highway features festive grand decorations for the holiday season and the daily "Sunset Stampede" laser light show at 2, 6, 8 and 10 p.m.
The Auto Collections at the Imperial Palace recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary and in the next couple weeks the hotel will be issuing commemorative casino chips in three distinct $5 designs to honor the classic car showroom. Since The Auto Collections opened, about 3,000 cars with a total value today of nearly $1 billion have passed through its doors.
The recent season premiere of NBC's "Scrubs" featured the Blue Man Group at The Venetian. Dr. John "JD" Dorian, portrayed by Zach Braff, appeared onstage by accident during a Blue Man Group performance. "Scrubs" is in its sixth season.
Stand-up comedy actor Johnny Dark will bring his subtle, calm humor to the Riviera Comedy Club during the holidays for seven nights, Dec. 18-24. Fellow comedians Doug Benson and Dan Gabriel will also appear at the 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. shows. Tickets are $19.95; call 702-794-9433.
Dark, who is a Riviera regular, has spent years on the comedy club circuit and the world of television. His many credits include a number of episodes of "Growing Pains," "Running in the Halls," and "Just the Ten of Us," and syndicated talk shows including NBC's "The Tonight Show " and 22 appearances on "Late Night with David Letterman," where most recently he played "CBS's Oldest Living Television Usher!" He's also performed numerous dramatic roles on such shows as "L.A. Law," "Silk Stalkings," and "Touched By An Angel."
Doug Benson can be seen each week making fun of people on VH-1's "Best Week Ever." His television acting credits include NBC's "Friends," HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," multiple appearances on CBS's "Late, Late Show" and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Benson co-wrote and starred in "The Marijuana-logues," which just completed a yearlong Off-Broadway run, performed a sold-out run at Montreal's Just For Laughs festival and is now available on CD. Random House will soon put it out in book form.
Dan Gabriel has performed on "Star Search," NBC's "Late Friday" and Comedy Central's "Premium Blend." His film credits include "It Burns When I Laugh" and "Melvin Goes To Dinner."
