The Halloween-themed 2nd World Broom Races benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 25 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Flightlinez zipline attraction downtown. Riders are encouraged to wear costumes and fly for bragging rights.

“The Haunting Tour” will take place Oct. 28-31 from 3 to 7 p.m. The 13th floor at Circus Circus will be turned into a haunted experience giving guests a first-hand look at eerie events as they are guided through 13 unique rooms on the grim floor.

Oct. 28-31, Fright Dome at The Adventuredome at Circus Circus in partnership with Compass Films International has themed two of its five haunted houses after the legendary horror film “HALLOWEEN.” Dark and fog-filled from 7 p.m. to midnight, Fright Dome creates a chilling atmosphere with roaming characters and five acres of fright made up of all new extreme scare zones, rides, attractions and live shows.

HAZE Nightclub at Aria will kick off Halloween weekend with pop rock band Hot Chelle Rae on Thursday, Oct. 27. International superstar Flo-Rida will host a special Halloween celebration on Saturday, Oct. 29. Rapper and actor Ludacris will take the stage at HAZE on Monday, Oct.31.

Jenni “JWOWW” Farely from “Jersey Shore” will host the iconic “Pimp N Ho Costume Ball” at Chateau Nightclub at Paris on Friday, Oct. 28.


Annalynne McCord, the “90210” star will host the best costume contest with $10,000 in cash prizes awarded at PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace on Oct. 28.

The sassy “Jersey Shore” star Snooki will host the Halloween soiree with $10,000 in cash prizes for the sexiest vixen at PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace on Saturday, Oct. 29.

InsertCoin(s) Videolounge Gamebar located in the heart of the Fremont Street East district of Downtown Las Vegas will celebrate Halloween with a weekend full of costume contests and cash prizes. Costume contests, with themes ranging from “Best Walking Dead costume” to “Sexiest costume,” will take place nightly, Oct. 28-31, with cash prizes from $500 to $1,000.

The Village Las Vegas will host “The Kid Friendly Halloween Festival lakeside on Oct. 30 from 3 7 p.m. There will be safe trick-or-treating throughout The Village where kids can go from shop-to-shop for fun Halloween treats and other activities.

Paul Oakenfold will feature his first performance on the Las Vegas Strip in more than three years as the featured DJ for Butterfly's “First Blood Orange Masquerade Ball” on Oct. 29 and 31. The costume contest will offer $20,000 in cash and prizes. The event will be hosted by Scott Disick, co-star of E!'s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

The Angels & Demons Halloween Party at Carnaval Court at Harrah's will go from noon on Oct. 29 until 4 a.m. There will be two costume contests one for sexiest costume (ladies only) and one for most creative with $5,000 in cash and prizes.

The theme for the VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub Halloween Party at the Rio on Oct. 29 will be cowboys and Indians with a $3,000 cash prize for the most creative costume and a $2,000 for the sexiest costume.

For Halloween at Mandalay Bay, the Haunted Reef at Shark Reef Aquarium will be decorated on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. 10 p.m.

At LAX Nightclub at the Luxor, celebrity couple Ice-T and Coco, from E!'s hit reality series “Ice Loves Coco,” will host the “Player's Ball” and judge the costume contest for the “Sexiest Seductress” And $10,000 in cash prizes.

The devilish-themed Devil's Night Ball hosted by adult entertainer Ron Jeremy will be held at the Crown Theater at the Rio on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 10:30 p.m. Costumes and lingerie will be the dress code. Guests are free to 11 p.m. and ladies will get to drink free champagne until midnight. Cover is $20 and $10 for ladies in costume.

Bridget Marquardt, television star and former “Girl Next Door” from E!'s hit reality series, will host a Halloween bash at Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood on Sunday, Oct. 30. She will celebrate the release of her Halloween costume line, Bridget by Roma.

The 14th Annual Nightmare on 54th Street party will be held at Studio 54 at the MGM Grand, Oct. 28, 29 and 31. Each evening, dancers will present productions of Michael Jackson's “Thriller” and David Guetta's “Little Bad Girl.” Aerialists, wall-walkers and the tempting “Snake Babe” will each make an appearance in the tree-lined gothic mausoleum once known as Studio 54.

On Friday, Oct. 28, Studio 54's resident DJ Loczi will hold a special Halloween edition of his recurring Electric Dream with “Electric Scream.” Costume wearers may win $5,000.

On Saturday, Oct. 29, sexy Holly Madison will host the 3rd Annual “Hollyween” with E!'s “Holly's World” and PEEPSHOW castmate Josh Strickland. Madison will emcee a costume contest to find Sin City's sexiest partygoer for a $10,000 cash prize and Strickland will take the stage for a special musical performance.

On Monday, Oct. 31, Studio 54 and Golden Rainbow will host the 45th Annual Beaux Arts Ball. Emceed by Chippendales' James Vaughn, 8 News Now's Chris Saldana and “Zumanity's” Edie the Entertainer, the over-the-top party will include performers from Studio 54 and cast members from shows on the Strip. Known as Halloween Weekend's most extravagant costume gala, $25,000 in total cash prizes will be awarded to three guests for most original, sexiest, and best drag.

Fresh off their cross-country tour, Recycled Percussion will return to Tropicana Las Vegas on Nov. 1 and perform at 7 p.m. nightly except Wednesdays. Audiences are handed and instrument and drumstick upon entering so they can become part of the performance.

Formed in 1994 in New Hampshire at their High School talent show, Recycled Percussion's first performance gave birth to the style of music now known as JUNK ROCK. During every show, the small-town band mixes their gritty assault on buckets, power tools or anything else they can get their sticks on with a sense of humor and gravity defying athleticism.

The band was introduced into living rooms across the country on the hit television show “America's Got Talent” on NBC. The group placed third out of over 100,000 acts and became the first non-singing act to place in the top three in show history.



Funnyman Daniel Tosh will headline at The Mirage as part of the 2012 Aces of Comedy™ series. Tosh will perform Feb. 3 4, March 9 10 and April 27 28 at 10 p.m. inside the Terry Fator Theatre. Tosh currently hosts “TOSH.0” on Comedy Central. Tickets start at $59.99.

Due to demand, comedian Jeff Dunham has announced the addition of a Friday show on Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. to his “Controlled Chaos” tour at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The two-night engagement includes Dec. 3.

With his all new “Controlled Chaos” tour, Dunham introduces two new characters: Achmed Junior, the not-as-equally skeletal son of Achmed the Dead Terrorist, and Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself. The fresh show had its debut on Sept. 25 as his fourth Comedy Central one-hour TV special.


Hundreds of members of the North American Model Boat Association (NAMBA) will descend on Lake Las Vegas for a weekend of remote controlled boat racing. This event is free to watch with open water practice Oct. 24-27 and racing Oct. 28-30.

Pros will race boats that cost upwards of $3,000 at speeds as high as 90 mph. There will be three types of motors: gas, nitro and electric. Visit for information.


CSI: The Experience, the interactive attraction at the MGM Grand, has acquired an authentic prop from the CBS “CSI: Miami” series. The prop, a detailed charred body, was featured in episode 907 of the series, “Blood Sugar,” where a burned human remains was found in a fire aftermath in a sugar refinery. A custom display case was built to allow visitors to get up close and personal with the new addition.

Singer-impressionist and comedian Tom Stevens, who recently performed his 500th show in Las Vegas, will return to the Suncoast Showroom, Nov. 5 and 6. Tickets are $10, call 702-636-7075.

Stevens performs his one-man show throughout the country, paying tribute to more than 25 singers. The native New Yorker began his career appearing in clubs on the East Coast. His likeness of Dean Martin's looks and crooning abilities were put to the test when he performed at the fourth annual Dean Martin Festival in Martin's hometown, Steubenville, Ohio. The overwhelming response provided Stevens with continuous return engagements.


On Veteran's Day, Nov. 11, Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas resorts will be offering free and discounted show tickets, restaurant offers including free meals at eight buffets and spa treatments to veterans and active military personnel.

Active duty and retired military personnel can receive one complimentary meal at any Coast Casino buffet (The Orleans, Gold Coast, Sam's Town or Suncoast) on Nov. 11 in honor of Veteran's Day.

The Las Vegas Woman's Expo will return to the Red Rock on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 and a Goody Bag will be given to the first 500 ladies. There will be a $1,000 cash prize for best costume at 4 p.m.

For the second consecutive year, MGM Resorts International has been listed among “Newsweek Magazine's” 500 most environmentally responsible companies in the United States, and also as the highest ranking company in the casino resort industry.
