During the 24th Annual Laughlin River Run, Harrah's Rio Vista Outdoor Amphitheater will host entertainment and a nightly barbecue bash throughout the weekend. On Thursday, April 27, the Marshall Tucker Band will bring country rock to the stage followed by popular alternative rockers, Cheap Trick, on Friday, April 28. Cheap Trick's latest single, "Perfect Stranger," is on the group's "Rockford" album set for release in June. The music will continue on Saturday, April 29 with the Eagles tribute band, Hotel California.

In order, general admission seating tickets are $20, $30 and $15, call 702-298-8510.

Guests purchasing concert tickets have access to the barbecue bash area at the Rio Vista Amphitheater featuring food and drink specials from 7 p.m. to midnight, April 27 - 29.

Themed VIP after-parties will be held indoors in the Harrah's Fiesta Showroom. The Jack Danielsr After-Party will be on Thursday, April 27, and the Cabo Wabo After-Party will follow on Friday, April 28. Full cash bar, videos and DJ-spun music will complete the festive scene with doors opening each night at 11 p.m. General admission will be $20 per person.

The poker room will feature the Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament on April 28. A $150 buy-in will get players a seat in the tournament with preliminary rounds beginning at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday. The final tournament round will be held on Saturday, April 29 at 2 p.m. The tournament grand prize winner will receive a $10,000 seat at the official World Series of Poker® held in Las Vegas. The weekend will be rounded out at Harrah's with a $34,000 World Series of Poker® Custom Chopper Giveaway. Guests purchasing tickets to the Hotel California concert will receive an entry into the custom chopper drawing to be held immediately after the concert performance.

The Laughlin River Run, known as the West's largest bike rally, will attract more than 60,000 bike enthusiasts. The Flamingo will pump-up the music scene by welcoming back classic rockers Foreigner on Thursday, April 27, and REO Speedwagon on April 28 and 29, at the Flamingo Outdoor Amphitheater. All three concerts will be at 9 p.m. and tickets are $25, $30 and $35, call 800-435-8469.

The Flamingo will also be hosting the Miss Laughlin River Run Contest Saturday, April 30 in the Club Flamingo Showroom at 3 p.m., and admission is free.


Comedians Darren Carter and Steve Trevino will bring their live adult comedy show to the Ramada Express Pavilion on Friday and Saturday, April 28 and 29 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $19, call 800-243-6846.

After getting his first big break on Showtime's "Latino Laugh Festival," the red-headed Carter, also known as "Rooster," appeared on many television shows including "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and Comedy Central's "Premium Blend." He also appeared in the motion picture "Be Cool" with John Travolta.

Like Carter, Texas-born Trevino also started comedy at a young age starring in his second grade talent show and making people laugh. Trevino's association and friendship with comedian Carlos Mencia has kept him on the road opening shows for Mencia all across the country. His uncanny ability to incorporate real-life scenarios and stories into his entertaining physical humor and strong stage presence keep crowds laughing.

The Riverside is holding its "Tickets to Ride" vehicle-a-week giveaway in May and June. You can win your choice of a GMC Sierra pick-up 4wd, GMC Envoy, Buick La Crosse CXL or $20,000 in cash every Thursday at 7 p.m. in May and June at the South Tower events area. The vehicles are on display at the resort.

Tickets can be earned daily by playing your slots or table games and being a member of the King of Clubs Players' Club. Winners must be 21 yeas of age and present at the drawing. For information, call 702-298-2535 or 928-763-7070.

The Colorado Belle will be Rockin' on the River Wednesday, April 26 through Saturday, April 29, with a line-up of blues music and a bevy of gorgeous Hawaiian Tropic contestants.

The entertainment slate will feature the return of the legendary blues singer and guitarist Michael Burks for the fourth year, The Nighthawks, a top musical act out of the Washington, D.C. area, and John Earl & The BoogieMan Band featuring blues singer / songwriter Anne Donahue.

The ladies of Hawaiian Tropic will be competing for the titles of "Biker's Choice" and "Miss Hawaiian Tropic Laughlin," modeling swimwear and biker wear. The live entertainment in the outdoor Center Circle event area is free and will begin in the early afternoon each day.

In addition at the event, there will be vendors, food, beer, Jack Daniels' products and experience museum. The events coincide with the annual spring bike run that draws thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country.

To commemorate this year's River Run, the Colorado Belle has minted a limited edition of 1,000 special souvenir gaming chips. The "Spring River Run" $5 gaming chips will be available for purchase at the casino's Main Cage and circulated at the live table games. The 2006 chips have a night scene of the Colorado Belle on one side and Rachel Faber, winner of the 2005 Miss Hawaiian Tropic Laughlin "Biker's Choice" award, on the opposite side.

Now after every qualifying high hand bonus of 4 of a kind, straight flush, and royal flush, Ramada Express will SPLASH THE POT at the winning poker table with $25 in chips. High hand bonus premiums are: an extra $50 on any 4 of a Kind hit; a $75 bonus for a straight flush, and $200 for a royal flush.
