Are some of your more well-traveled pieces from your wardrobe starting to look a little tired? Get more life out of your wardrobe without breaking the bank! Let’s get one more season out of some of your favorites by adding some easy-to-wear accessories.

For example, you can easily change the look of your favorite tank by simply adding a belt! One of my favorite “shopping grounds” for belts is Chico’s. It doesn’t matter whether it’s one of the full retail locations or even better, their outlets, they have an amazing selection of belts that do much to enhance your look! Chico’s actually makes a line of apparel specifically for their outlets, but either way, their belts and accessories are addicting! Another favorite “shopping ground” is White House/Black Market. They also have full retail locations and a few outlets. If you go online, they also offer printable coupons so you can maximize your shopping opportunities!

If you aren’t a belt lover, add some new life to your outfits by layering necklaces. The look will draw attention away from the drab and transform the tired into “fab”! Personally, I also love the bangles and bracelets! You can find crazy deals at most of your favorite department stores or boutiques. The thing I like about boutiques is they usually don’t carry a ton of one item, so your selection tends to be more unique. Believe it or not, my hair salon also carries an inexpensive jewelry line. It never fails, when I wear a piece that I purchased from the salon, it always gets noticed.

If you’re still not sold on the “bling-thing”, try adding some accessories to your hair. Headbands, blinged-out combs, or barretts make any hair style pop. One of my favorite places to purchase such items is at a craft fair or “farmers” market. There is usually a vendor or two who specializes in hair accessories. And, again, it won’t be something you see on everyone.

I am also a fan of mixing the gold with the silver. Silver looks amazing on most skin types but if you’re hesitant, mix in a little gold. I purchased a couple of signature pieces that have both gold and silver so when I wear them, the whole look is easily tied together.
