It had been a long time with no visit to Battista's Hole In The Wall so I went. When I walked in, there was nary a soul there. Two hours later, it was SRO and the meal was super. Nephew Mike Lacatelli helped make it so... Rampart Casino chief and C.E.O. Bill Paulos is all excited about their new buffet, steak house and raised casino floor. More additions are on the way.. On his most recent visit to Rome, Bobby Vinton and his wife got to spend a few minutes speaking with Pope John Paul. "We were the first to speak to the Pope and for the rest of the visit were less than an arms length from him," said Vinton. Vinton took some medals that he wanted the Pope to bless for his family; when this was done, the Pope shook his hand and Vinton discovered that Pope John Paul had placed a rosary in his hand. When Pope John Paul returned to Poland for his first visit as Pope, Vinton, who still has family living in Poland, was among the entourage who greeted the Pope when he arrived...
