Tony Orlando has closed after a 13 week stint at the Golden Nugget...He will return to The Orleans for 8 days during the Christmas holidays. The Letterman wrapped up a successful week at The Orleans and are followed by Frankie Valli. Even though he is semi retired, Trini Lopez says he would play Vegas if the hotel and the money were right. Hogan's Hero cast member and Holocaust survivor Robert Clary was in town April 23 and 24. Wild Chicago producer Harvey Moshman and host Will Klinger were in town filming for Network Chicago.

Congratulations to Pam Ramsey, who has moved up to sales manager at the Suncoast. Congratulations to Larry King on the 18th anniversary of his show...Larry had me as a guest when he was filming in Las Vegas. I chatted with former TV host Mike Douglas, who tells me that he and wife Gen have retired to North Palm Beach, Florida. Singer, entertainer Clint Holmes is celebrating his third year at Harrahs. Bill Cosby is penciled in at the Aladdin in May 25. John Lopez, former Desert Inn matre'd is now with the purchasing department at the Las Vegas School District. Midbar Kodesh Temple will honor Congresswoman Shelley Berkley here June 9th at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Hawaiian Hot Luau! "Imperial-style," Las Vegas' only authentic poolside luau and Polynesian revue, heats up the summer, beginning Tuesday, April 23, at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino, in the heart of the action packed Las Vegas "Strip."

For the eleventh consecutive year, the Imperial Palace presents the luaus, twice weekly, on the Shangri-la pool deck, complete with beautiful tropical setting, lavish seafood buffet and exciting entertainment. The "spirit of aloha" fills the air, beginning at 6:30 p.m., weather permitting, every Tuesday and Thursday through mid-October.
