Regular Las Vegas visitor John Travolta is working hard with a full-time personal trainer to take off the extra weight. He is pumping up for the summer production of "Mr. 3000," a film about a recently retired pro baseball player who has to get back into the game when he learns that several of his career hits have been disqualified, pushing him below that all-important 3,000 lifetime hits record...

The 16th Annual "The Auction" Antique, Classic & Special Interest Automobile Auction and Exposition Sale returns to the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino, Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21, accompanied by a very special preview party and memorabilia auction on Friday, April 19, from 4 p.m. in the fabulous Auto Collections.

More than 300 impeccable classic cars at "The Auction" and another 300 world-class automobiles at the exposition will be up for sale, including Bruce Lee,'s 1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, Liberace's 1981 Zimmer Golden Spirit, a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427/390 Coupe, a 1964 Jaguar E-Type Roadster and a 1931 Duesenberg J Dietrich Convertible Sedan.

"The Auction" takes place under the tents in the rear parking lot of the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino, center-"Strip" Las Vegas. Gates open at 8 a.m., the auction begins at 10 a.m., both days. Gate admission is $10 per person, per day. Children 12 and under are free.
