Tony Orlando's numbers are increasing each week at the Golden Nugget and his personal energy energizes not only his band, but the audience as well... Charo is back with a vengeance at the Venetian Hotel. Her new show features superb magician Phelston Jones, the Apollo Brothers juggling act and Cesse and Katy, a high-wire Adagio act that stops the show. Then there is Charo herself, who emcees the Latin fare, but does 30-minutes with her Flamenco guitar that too stops the show. She could easily stretch the one-hour-thirty minutes into two hours. Charo is having difficulty postponing dates in Australia, Europe, South America and New York as the Venetian wants her to stay with them forever.
