Ortanique Restaurant is the beautiful new Caribbean themed fine dining room at The Paris Hotel. The food is fantastic, the decor is warm and elegant, and the music is wonderful. On Wednesday and Thursday nights, it's the Tommy Thopmson Project featuring the best in contemporary jazz to funky grooves. They perform from 8 - midnight with the after dinner crowd dancing and diggin' the sounds. On Friday and Saturdays from 9 pm - 1 am, it's the reggae sounds of Bonafide, the city's premier authentic reggae and party band. Rastafarians and everyone else too, cannot resist singing and dancing to hits by Bob Marley, UB40, "Yellow Man" and even the band's own originals. Donovan Stephens leads the group, who is a favorite of locals and tourists alike and the food and fun at Ortanique should not be missed.

The Second City has a comedy empire second to none and has been a major force in the industry for over 40 years. Founded in Chicago in 1959, they have a new home here at The Flamingo - Las Vegas. The troupe has spawned such comedy greats as Mike Nichols, Alan Arkin, Joan Rivers, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, John Candy, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and many more. The unique show combines music, scene and improvisation to present satires of politics, sex, religion and other every day situations. The cast is extremely talented and the audience interaction creates the flow of the dialogue so no two shows are ever alike. Kay Cannon, Mary Pat Farrell, Mike Lukas, Jason Sudeikis and Mike Lukas did a tremendous job of entertaining our group and who knows, maybe one of these great talents will show up on Saturday Night Live very soon!

Hawaii's favorite sons, Society of Seven, are now appearing in The Nightclub at the fabulous Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. "SOS" isn't just a group, it's a tradition that has crossed the Pacific, bringing with them the experience and showmanship of thousands of sold-out performances in Waikiki. If comedy and impressions of everyone from The Beatles to The Muppets are your thing, you're bound to enjoy their hilarious antics and great vocal blends. Tickets may be purchased at the hotel box office or by calling (702) 732-5755. Society of Seven shows are immediately followed by powerful dance music provided by Groove City, Las Vegas' top R & B / Dance showband. Come on down to the Hilton and spend the evening with these two great acts!

Dueling Pianos are rockin' the nights away at the incredible New York / New York Hotel & Casino. The shows start nightly at 8 pm and go until 2 am with the greatest sing-a-long party in the nation. Chris Nelson, Mike Cavanaugh, Phyllis Griffin, Ray Glover, Michael John, John Jones, and Conrad Hawthorne are the most versatile players in the world and able to answer almost any request, including your Alma Mater's fight song. Come check out these fabulous entertainers.
