The boy has got it all folks! Youth, good looks, personality and above all, he's got talent. The new star at Caesars Palace in the Galleria Bar is crooner Brian Duprey. He sings with an ease and flair reminiscent of Sinatra and the legendary super-star vocalists of all time. Recently relocated from New Jersey, he has moved to Vegas to pursue his show business career. He can impersonate artists such as Elvis, Chris Isaak, Neil Diamond, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, Aaron Neville and of course, Harry Connick, Jr. At his age, his resume is brief but includes a performance on Dick Clark's television show, "Your Big Break". This was also the conduit to Vegas for the previous act in the Galleria. Duprey's stage presence is a combination of the suave young crooner mixed with an impish charm from his stand up comedy experience. He has a marvelous CD available when you stop in to see this new arrival to the Las Vegas Strip.

"The World's Best Female Drummer", Joanie Peteani, will appear in Addison's Lounge in the Rampart Casino at the JW Marriott Hotel in Summerlin. Joanie's "pure energy" performance takes her from the front of the stage, singing, dancing and playing percussion to her upstage position behind the drums. In either locale, she exudes excitement demonstrating her percussive expertise on Latin rhythms or swingin' with the recreation of Gene Krupa's solo on "Sing, Sing, Sing". Performance dates are May 10 & 11 from 9 pm - 1 am. The finest in entertainment is always at the Rampart and don't miss the soulful sounds of Bobby Dickerson (aka Bobby D.) in The Round Bar on the same property six nights a week.

The beautiful new Crystal Lounge at the Las Vegas Hilton features the finest in contemporary jazz from Sunday through Wednesday by the Greg Bowers Trio, and is now presenting Karisma on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Karisma stars Las Vegas newcomer, Elisa Furr, an exciting six-foot beauty with a voice as rockin' as Pat Benatar and as sensitive as a Celine Dion. The male lead is Nino Angelastro, who has assembled the talent into the most versatile band in the city. From authentic Latin to current pop and everything before and in between, they do it all.

Melanie Lopez and Kaleidoscope perform in Napoleon's Champagne Bar at Paris Hotel from 11 p - 2 am May 9,10 & 11 with Kim Styles on the earlier time slot from 8 - 10:30.

Ghalib Ghallab Jazz Experience - performs at Caesars Palace in the beautiful Terrazza Restaurant & Lounge. From 6 pm nightly Tuesday - Saturday, come here Celine Dion's favorite jazz trio and enjoy fine dining and fine wines.

Groove City is back in The Venetian Hotel and the grooves are rockin' the La Scena Lounge every night this week. Real Surreal plays Mon-day and Tuesday with the latest in contemporary Top 40 on the earlier shift. (4 - 9 & 9:30 - 2:30)
