Coming for one night only to the new Palms Hotel & Casino, in a rare Las Vegas appearance is Starship: Featuring Mickey Thomas. Mickey made his mark in 1976 as the lead vocalist for The Elvin Bishop Band when he recorded the mega-hit, "Fooled Around and Fell In Love". He joined Starship in 1979 and recorded five #1 hits starting with "Jane", "No Way Out", "We Built This City", "Sara" and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now". Every Starship album released since 1979 has gone Gold, Platinum, or Multi-Platinum. Mickey's incredible charisma and voice will be supported by a stellar group of musicians including Jeff Adams on bass, Mark Abrahamian / guitar, Phil Bennett / keys, and Darrell Verdusco on drums. Shows are at 7:30 & 9:30 pm for one night only, Friday, April 12, 2002.
