Marlene Ricci has been signed to appear indefinitely in the newly remodeled Le Bistro Theatre at the Riviera Hotel. A protege of the late Frank Sinatra, Marlene was discovered by the legendary crooner while working in a casino lounge here in Las Vegas. He made her his opening act and she performed all over the world with "The Chairman of the Board". When Frank wasn't singing, Marlene opened for all his pals including Paul Anka, Sammy Davis Jr., Bob Hope, Alan King and many, many more. Her numerous television appearances with Merv Griffin, Johnny Carson, Dinah Shore and Mike Douglas have made her a favorite with locals and tourists alike. Marlene's musical director is the extremely talented Brian Tidwell and I think this show will be a fresh addition to the Riviera's great entertainment line-up. Break-a-leg and we'll see you soon after your opening on Jan. 29. Call the Riviera box office for tickets and information at (702) 794-9433.

The Empire Bar has closed for remodeling and the action has moved to the legendary Bar at Times Square, home of the world famous Dueling Pianos at New York / New York. The party starts with solo and duo acts such as Kevin Baker, John Garder, Bobby Dickerson and more at 3 pm until 7 pm. Then at 8 pm, Chris Nelson, Mike Cavanaugh, Phyllis Griffin, Ray Glover, Conrad Hawthorne, John Jones, and others rock out at the dual Dueling Pianos. It is the most interactive, fun Rock 'n' Roll show where the audience can sing and dance and go wild seven nights a week! The hours have been extended here too, and the show goes until 3 am on weekdays and 4 am on Friday and Saturday!

The Regent Hotel in Summerlin is now the beautiful new, J. W. Marriott Las Vegas - Golf & Spa Resort. They feature nightly entertainment in the Round Bar with great pop and jazz solo and duo acts (Sun. - Wed.) and variety bands in Addison's Show Lounge, this weekend starring the legendary, Cornell Gunter's Coasters on Thursday - Saturday. They will perform January 31 - February 2 their incredibly entertaining show featuring their hit songs like "Charlie Brown", "Yackety Yak" and many more. Shows begin at 8 on Thursday and 9 pm on Friday and Saturday. The upscale resort has fabulous rooms, incredible food and all the amenities expected at a Marriott. Great times both on and off the course are the plans for the future!

If you haven't already, it's high time you go to Texas Station and check out Celebrity Skin, a tribute to the 90's decade of music. From the creators and players of Loveshack, Celebrity Skin boasts this new nostalgia event for party people of all ages. Every Thursday night at 10 pm in the Armadillo Lounge, you can see the likeness of Vanilla Ice, Courtney Love, Kid Rock, Trent Reznor, Curt Cobain, and Lenny Kravitz perform their hits live.
