Lou Ragland's World Famous Ink Spots will appear in the Pavilion Theater at the Ramada Express Jan. 5 - 7. Tickets are $17.50.

The Ink Spots have changed some members over the 60 years of the group's existence, but their classic musical style hasn't changed one iota. They still sing classic songs like "If I Didn't Care," "Gypsy" and "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire."

The timeless sound of The Ink Spots is like a familiar recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation...it never goes out of style, just gets better and better. Their shows have been consistent sell-outs, so you are encouraged to call early for tickets 1-800-243-6846.

The Flamingo's "A Really Big Shew, A Tribute to Ed Sullivan" production running through April 11, is now featuring new acts through Feb. 15.

Actor Jerry Hoban, best known for his Ed Sullivan role in the motion picture "Pulp Fiction," portrays the late host in this re-creation of the popular "Ed Sullivan Show" that aired on CBS from 1947-1971. The variety show includes Sullivan as the comedic emcee and specialty acts interspersed with vintage television commercials and commentary from the television showman.

The new acts begin with The Amazing Dario, a third generation performer who is an international speed juggler from Mexico City.

Illusionist Dan Birch is a Los Angeles-based magician who excels at up-close, slight-of-hand magic. He can turn doves into dogs in a blink of an eye. Birch has made television appearances and is a regular headliner at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. He'll be in the show until Jan. 3.

Joyce Rice is America's Favorite Cowgirl. This original act highlights a cowgirl twirling rope act mixed with comedy. She's appeared at the Calgary Stampede and on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno.

The Mamners are illusionist Dave and his assistant Denise. Their act revolves around exotic birds. They have also been featured on several TV specials.

Singer Tom Jones is performed by impersonator Lou Nelson. Show times are 7 and 9 p.m. nightly. Tickets are $14.95, call 800-435-8469 or 702-298-5111.

Harrah's has closed the Fresh Market Square Buffet for renovation and expansion. The tentative re-opening date is set for April 15, 2004.

Beginning Jan. 15, 2004, dinner buffet service will be available in the Fiesta Showroom from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Showroom Buffet Dinner will be available for $10.99 plus tax. The all-you-can-eat prime rib and shrimp will continue to be made available for dinner only.

The Baja Blue Restaurant & Cantina, normally in operation for dinner only, is now serving a special Baja Blue Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through April 15, with selected close dates of Jan. 1, 2, 5-9 and 12-14. Breakfast is $7.99 plus tax.

Harrah's Laughlin is continuing the second and final phase of its popular Home Makeover with Katie Brown promotion. At the property finals on Feb. 5. 2004, the resort will be awarding cash, home improvement prizes, and a 2004 Mazda RX-8. Eligible contestants will earn an opportunity to move on to the grand prize drawing to be held via live simulcast from the Rio on Feb. 12. A grand prize of a $100,000 home makeover and consultation from Katie Brown will be awarded.

Harrah's-owned casino and hotel resorts across the country launched the first phase of the Harrah's Home Makeover Giveaway featuring Katie Brown earlier this fall. This promotion married the how-to-do-it-yourself television show theme with exciting Harrah's prizes such as Reward Credits, home lifestyle products, and cash. "All Year Round with Katie Brown" is produced by Atlas Media for A&E Network. On Dec. 14, Katie Brown, hailed as "TV's meat and potatoes Martha Stewart," hosted the final grand prize drawing via a live simulcast from the Rio in Las Vegas.

The Flamingo Laughlin has expanded its Magic Club customer rewards program to include the nationwide Connection Card benefits available at Park Place Entertainment resorts throughout the Untied States. The Connection Card program offers the convenience of one membership card and multi-property benefits from across the country. Flamingo guests, who could previously spend their complimentary dollars in 12 outlets, now have more than 150 in Southern Nevada alone.

Players earn Connection Comp dollars when they insert their member cards while playing games or during a hotel stay.

"Happy Birthday Elvis" is the show that will be running at the Riverside Resort from Jan. 2-18. Tickets for the 7 p.m. show will be $25, call 1-800-227-3849.

Tennis star Andre Agassi is investing as an owner of the Golden Nugget in Laughlin and Las Vegas.

The largest development in the history of Bullhead City is officially underway. Laughlin Ranch is a master-planned development that is expected to eventually span 10,000 acres. Model homes and retail establishments could be up by April and the 18-hole golf course is expected to be completed by next December.
