Stand-up comedian David Brenner is thrilled to be off the road after spending nearly two years touring with his "Laughter to the People" show following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. He has a deal to perform for 44 weeks in the 250-seat David Brenner Theater at the Westin Casuarina. Tickets are $55, call 702-992-7970.

He spends a good part of his day reading countless newspapers and magazines and surfing the Internet to get his material. He jots down concepts and ideas on large cards, and then he goes out on stage and adlibs most of his show. He's amazing and manages to ensure that no two shows are alike.
Brenner is also an author. His fifth book, "I think There's' a Terrorist in My Soup: How to Survive Personal and World Problems with Laughter - Seriously!" was released in October.
