The Halloween-themed 2nd World Broom Races benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 25 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Flightlinez zipline attraction downtown. Riders are encouraged to wear costumes and fly for bragging rights.
“The Haunting Tour” will take place Oct. 28-31 from 3 to 7 p.m. The 13th floor at Circus Circus will be turned into a haunted experience giving guests a first-hand look at eerie events as they are guided through 13 unique rooms on the grim floor.

The Angels & Demons Halloween Party at Carnaval Court at Harrah's will go from noon on Oct. 29 until 4 a.m. There will be two costume contests – one for sexiest costume (ladies only) and one for most creative with $5,000 in cash and prizes.
The theme for the VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub Halloween Party at the Rio on Oct. 29 will be cowboys and Indians with a $3,000 cash prize for the most creative costume and a $2,000 for the sexiest costume.

RECYCLED PERCUSSION RETURNS TO TROPICANA
Fresh off their cross-country tour, Recycled Percussion will return to Tropicana Las Vegas on Nov. 1 and perform at 7 p.m. nightly except Wednesdays. Audiences are handed and instrument and drumstick upon entering so they can become part of the performance.
Formed in 1994 in New Hampshire at their High School talent show, Recycled Percussion's first performance gave birth to the style of music now known as JUNK ROCK. During every show, the small-town band mixes their gritty assault on buckets, power tools or anything else they can get their sticks on with a sense of humor and gravity defying athleticism.
The band was introduced into living rooms across the country on the hit television show “America's Got Talent” on NBC. The group placed third out of over 100,000 acts and became the first non-singing act to place in the top three in show history.

RC BOAT RACING RETURNS TO LAKE LAS VEGAS

CSI: THE EXPERIENCE ACQUIRES A CRISPY PROP
CSI: The Experience, the interactive attraction at the MGM Grand, has acquired an authentic prop from the CBS “CSI: Miami” series. The prop, a detailed charred body, was featured in episode 907 of the series, “Blood Sugar,” where a burned human remains was found in a fire aftermath in a sugar refinery. A custom display case was built to allow visitors to get up close and personal with the new addition.
SINGER IMPRESSINIST TOM STEVENS REVISITS SUNCOAST

Stevens performs his one-man show throughout the country, paying tribute to more than 25 singers. The native New Yorker began his career appearing in clubs on the East Coast.
