Engelbert Humperdinck will perform at the Flamingo's Outdoor Amphitheater on Saturday, Oct 30. Tickets are $25, $30 and $35, call 1-800-435-8469.

Humperdinck has been a legend in the international music industry for the last 30 years, with over 130 million records sold. With four Grammy nominations, a Golden Globe for "Entertainer of the Year" and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Humperdinck could rest easy on his laurels. Instead in the past few years, he has joined an elite group of musical artists, such as Tony Bennett and Burt Bacharach, who have crossed over successfully to strike a new chord with a younger generation in addition to their core audiences. The Humpster has appeared on several MTV programs in the past, including two appearances on "MTV Beach House," "Chilling with the Weaze" and "Oddville."

Romance serves as the core of Humperdinck's music and lasting success. He knows how to pick songs with eternal themes of love and longing, and lovers always want to hear them sung.

Country artist John Michael Montgomery will headline Harrah's Rio Vista Outdoor Amphitheater on Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25, $30 and $35, call 1-800-447-8700 or 702-298-8510.

With 15 No. 1 singles, 16 million albums sold and a line of awards crowding his mantle, soft-spoken Kentuckian Montgomery has a 12-year career with classic hits, and he's back again with a new Warner Bros. album, "Letters From Home." On this album, he collaborates for the first time with famed record producer Byron Gallimore, who has worked with Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Terri Clark.

Meanwhile, Montgomery outlasted a series of accidents that temporarily set him back. He suffered multiple fractures of his right leg while working on his farm on 2001, and since then he's also had surgery for tonsillitis and for a blood circulation problem in his hip. He laughed when he recently sprained his wrist and figured the fact that it didn't break means he's having better luck now. The bright spot is that he's been able to spend time at home with his wife Crystal and their two children, Madison and Walker.

"A Really Big Shew" at the Flamingo showcases the talent of musicians, comics, impressionists and specialty performers with performances running in three-week segments. The show will continue through April 17 in the Club Flamingo Showroom. Show times are 7 and 9 p.m. nightly. Tickets are $14.95, call 800-435-8469 or 702-298-5111.

Actor Jerry Hoban, best known for his Ed Sullivan role in the motion picture "Pulp Fiction," portrays the late host in this re-creation of the popular "Ed Sullivan Show" that aired on CBS from 1947-1971. The variety show will include Sullivan as the comedic emcee, three specialty acts and one musical act. The acts are interspersed with vintage television commercials and commentary from Sullivan.

The Bellamy Brothers, Howard and David, with nearly 30 years of music success, will perform in Don's Celebrity Theater at the Riverside, Oct. 19-24. Tickets are $25 for the 8 p.m. shows, call 1-800-227-3849, ext. 616. The public is invited to attend a Press Conference for The Bellamy Brothers on Oct. 19 at 3 p.m. in front of Don's Celebrity Theatre that will be aired live on KRCY 103.9FM.

The Bellamys are the most nominated duo in the history of country music.

Averaging more than 250 worldwide dates per year, the Brothers are one of the most active touring bands in the business. Outside of their country music success, the Bellamy Brothers have always been accepted as a pop act overseas and have had active chart play in Germany, Norway, the U.K., Australia and Japan.

The most exciting chapter in the Brothers' history was launching their own record label. Bellamy Brothers Records have given Howard and David complete artistic freedom and control and flexibility they'd never had. That artistic freedom has shown through in their music videos resulting in a CMT Video of the Year Award.

The West Coast National Sand Drags will take place, Nov. 4-7. Sand dragsters will compete in a wide variety of classes on a course set up near the Avi beach and the Outdoor Channel will be filming the event for broadcast, Thursday-Sunday. Times and tickets are TBA.

Todd Luxton will perform his tribute to Elvis at the Ramada Express, Oct. 30-Nov. 2. Tickets are $15, call 1-800-243 6846.

Luxton grew up in Michigan and was five years old when his mother, an Elvis fan, dressed her toddler as the King. His first paid Elvis appearance was at age 15 and today he is still wearing Elvis costumes made by the very same man who made Elvis Presley's jumpsuits and they cost in the range of $2,500 each.

Luxton looks the part by wearing stage make-up, the trademark jumpsuit and a dark wig to cover his short blonde hair. He has won every Elvis contest he has entered, including one in Michigan and three in Arizona. Every song that Elvis recorded live, Luxton knows and can perform. He has performed at private parties, corporate functions, at casinos and clubs, and in "Legends In Concert" in Las Vegas.

There are 34 bowling lanes located at the Riverside on the second floor with a snack shop, nearby Hall of Fame bar, lockers, and Don's Kids Kastle with supervised child care. The Riverside Lanes open daily at 8 a.m.
