The Flamingo Laughlin's "Fabulous Four Car Giveaway" is back. The resort is giving away four new cars: a PT Cruiser, Chevrolet Camero, Chevrolet Silverado truck, and a Buick Century Custom Sedan. Four daily drawings which began on Oct. 3, are held at 10 a.m., 1, 4 and 7 p.m., at the Center Stage Experience. Drawings are held daily until all the vehicles are given away.

One person is selected during each drawing. That person gets to select a key from a box of 200 car keys and test it to see if it opens one of the car doors. Keys are not returned to the box, thus the chances get better as the contest progresses.

If a drawing participant doesn't win a vehicle, they receive consolation prizes which include an antique car radio, dinner for two at the Fruit Basket Buffet, two tickets to see "Dancin' to the Hitz" starring Pudgy! The Queen of Tease, and a commemorative key chain with a $5 collectors chip.

Entries into the Fabulous Four Car Giveaway drawings are earned in a number of ways including gaming, dining, staying at the hotel and purchasing show tickets.

"Broadway Tonight" starring Patti Bell and Danny Anderson will present show-stopping songs from the most-loved Broadway musicals in the Pavilion Theater at the Ramada Express, Oct. 23-26. Tickets are $12.95 per person, call 1-800-243-6846.

Frank Gorshin will return to the Ramada Express, Oct. 28 and 29, with his one-man variety show. The world class impersonator, comedian, actor ties his skills together to create characters, both real and fictional, and to spin a web of fantasy for the audience.

Gorshin's acting credits have been on television shows and in movies. He's well known as The Riddler on the "Batman" series and as a regular on the "ABC Comedy Hour." In his act, he impersonates many unforgettable actors such as Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas and Marlon Brando. He also brings pop and jazz singers to life on stage. Tickets are $15 per person.

The Laughlin Chamber of Commerce has 250 fundraising raffle tickets for sale at $100 each. The prize is an 11-day tour of Italy for two valued at $10,000, plus $1,000 cash in spending money. The winner will be announced during the chamber's open house festivities on Friday, Oct. 20, at 5:30 p.m. The occasion is the dedication ceremonies for the chamber's new office building on Casino Drive across the street from the Riverside Resort.

The winner need not be present to win but must be at least 21 years of age. The alternate prize is $8,000 if the winner opts not to take the trip.
