Lesley Gore with over two dozen chart hits to her credit, will headline at Don Laughlin's Celebrity Theatre at the Riverside, Oct. 26-31. Tickets are $32, call 1-800-227-3849.

Gore helped create the soundtrack to the sixties with hits like "Judy's Turn To Cry," "She's a Fool." "That's the Way Boys Are," "You Don't Own Me" and her classic smash hit, "It's My Party"-the song that skyrocketed her to fame in 1963 at 16 years of age. Gore continues to delight audiences around the world at festivals, theatres and arenas with her likeable stage presence and fun songs that relive those teenage days when boys were the most important thing in a young girl's life.

The Colorado Belle's winter golf tournament is set at Desert Lakes championship golf course, Dec. 2-4. The tournament features $18,000 in prize money based on a minimum of 90 golfers. In addition, the event features one ladies' close-to-hole contest at $500 and one hole-in-one shoot win up to $5,000. Entry fee for each event is $300, $400 or $500, based on rated casino play.

The entry fee for the tournament includes a four day / three night hotel stay; 36 holes of golf; continental breakfast, lunch, beverages and range balls at the golf course; tee prizes; a welcome pairings party with dinner and drinks; and two award cocktail parties. Format of the tournament is four-man scramble. Teams are assigned by handicap and different teams are created each day. Call 877-480-2747 to enter the tournament.

The Charlie Daniels Band will perform a concert at the Flamingo's Outdoor Amphitheater on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15, $20 and $25, call 1-800-435-8469.

Daniels' resume includes recording sessions with artists as diverse as Bob Dylan, Flatt & Scruggs, Pete Seeger, Mark O'Conner, Leonard Cohen, Ringo Starr and Johnny Cash. His songs have been documented by ABC Newsmagazine 20/20. In 1985, he published a collection of short stories, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," peopled with the same kind of characters and tall tales as his songs.

In April 1998, top stars and two former Presidents paid tribute to Daniels when he was named the recipient of the Pioneer Award at the Academy of Country Music's annual nationally televised ceremonies.
