Rock star Vince Neil opened Vince Neil's Tatuado Restaurant & Cantina at the LVH and now he's taking over Rock & Rita's bar at Circus Circus with plans to convert it in 45 days into his brand Tatuado Bar B Q. Rock & Rita's occupies the spaces that were formally the Pink Pony and the Garden Grill.
Vince is also supporting our troops in his own special way. Vince will be inviting 100 soldiers from Nellis Air Force base in North Las Vegas to his Tatuado Cantina on September 1 for a private pre-show reception, followed by a viewing of “Raiding the Rock Vault” show at the LVH Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

BACCHANAL BUFFET CELEBRATES FIRST BIRTHDAY
Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace with Its nine kitchens under one roof helmed by a team of classically-trained, Michelin-starred chefs led by Executive Chef Michael van Staden is celebrating its first birthday. LOU GRAMM FEATURED IN ‘RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT’ ICON SERIES
Lou Gramm, best known as the founding vocalist of the rock band Foreigner, will be the next singer in the “Raiding The Rock Vault” Icon Series performing five shows from Oct. 18-22 at the LVH. Foreigner with worldwide sales of nearly 80 million albums has created generation-spanning hits, including “Feels Like the First Time,” “Cold as Ice,” “Urgent,” “Hot Blooded,” “Double Vision,” “Juke Box Hero,” and “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” most of which were co-written by Gramm. His guest appearance will follow Yes's Jon Anderson, who takes the stage Sept. 20-24.
“Raiding the Rock Vault” is the story of classic rock traversing the genre's history from the ‘60s through the ‘80s with a masterful song list and all-star lineup of singers and musicians from famous rock bands. Tickets range from $49 to $125.
THE D & GOLDEN GATE HOST INAUGURAL BEERFEST ON SEPT. 14
On Saturday, Sept. 14 the D and Golden Gate hotels downtown will host their inaugural Beerfest featuring more than 60 craft beers from 50 breweries around the world. Starting at 5 p.m., guests are invited to gather in front of the historic Golden Gate for a brew-filled festival. Aficionados can choose to sample five beers for $20 or enjoy “bottomless brews” for $40. Single drafts and Detroit's iconic American Coney Island Dogs will be available for purchase. A DJ will spin from the Main Street Stage while Golden Gate's signature dancing dealers show off their best moves from OneBar.

SAN GENNARO FEAST COMING UP SEPT. 10-15
The 34th Annual San Gennaro Feast will take place Sept. 10-15, at the Grand Canyon Shopping Center. The Las Vegas family fun festival celebrating the spirit of San Gennaro features more than 70 restaurant food booths, 80 amusements rides including the new 100-foot Vertigo, midway games, arts and crafts booths, and complimentary headliner entertainment coordinated and hosted by Tony Sacca. There will be a fireworks display at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15. RIO HOSTS SIN CITY SOUL & BLUES REVIVAL SEPT. 15-17
The Sin City Soul & Blues Revival will take place at the Rio Sept. 15, 16 and 17 with 40-plus bands performing day and night on two air-conditioned stages and a lineup of both contemporary and traditional blues acts. One day tickets are $100 and $150 and a three-day pass is $325.
FIRST FRIDAY EXTENDS HOURS TO MIDNIGHT
First Friday Las Vegas, the largest arts and culture festival in the Western United States, now in its 10th year celebrates art and builds community with plenty of free activities for every age.
On Friday, Sept. 6, First Friday with the theme “Celebrating Heritage” will extend festival hours until midnight and follow August's festival success. First Friday will continue to push installs, vendors, food trucks and stages into the neighborhood of 18b. LOCALS HAMMER & ALES IS FEATURED ON SPIKE TV'S ‘BAR RESCUE
The start of football season marks two celebrations for local pub Hammer & Ales at 3990 W. Russell Road that opened in 2009 as The Hammer Bar. Sunday, Sept. 8 Spike TV will feature the transformation the establishment underwent earlier in 2013 under the guidance of industry expert Jon Taffer. The celebrations will begin as the first Sunday games of 2013 start and will continue into the evening with a viewing party of “Bar Rescue” kicking off at 9 p.m. The show instituted changes to the branding, menu, staff and ambiance in addition to working on the business relationship and day-to-day operations of the owners. Taffer is a bar and nightclub industry veteran who has opened, flipped, or owned more than 600 bars and clubs in his career.
GIADA'S ITALIAN CUCINA ENLARGES
The three-year-old Giada's Italian Cucina restaurant at 2540 Anthem Village Drive in Henderson can now seat 100. The table count has doubled to 23 and a full-service, nongaming bar has been added. The eatery is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and the bar until 11 p.m.
COMEDIAN JOE ROGAN MAKES ‘ACES OF COMEDY' DEBUT
Actor, comedian and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) commentator Joe Rogan will make his “Aces of Comedy” debut at The Mirage on Friday, Dec. 27 at 10 p.m. With more than 20 years of stand-up experience, Rogan has sold out shows worldwide and recently released his third one-hour standup special, “Joe Rogan Live from the Tabernacle.” Tickets are $39.99 and $49.99.
As an actor, Rogan starred in the 2012 film “Here Comes the Boom” and 2011's “Zookeeper” alongside fellow “Aces of Comedy” headliner Kevin James. He also is well-known for hosting the high-stakes game show “Fear Factor” on and off from 2001 to 2012. He also played Joe Garrelli on the hit comedy series “NewsRadio” and currently hosts “The Joe Rogan Experience,” a twice-weekly podcast featuring an array of guests from the pursuits of comedy, science, social activism and Mixed Martial Arts.

Executive Chef Noe Alcala will serve a special off-the-menu dish Seafood-Stuffed Chile Relleno for $20, Sept. 14-16, and the Rock ‘n' Roll Mairachi band will be performing. SUPER SUMMER THEATRE ENDS SEASON WITH ‘THE PRODUCERS'
Super Summer Theatre at the Spring Mountain Ranch State Park that was started 38 years ago with a bare stage, no dressing rooms and a questionable sound system, celebrated its one millionth patron in August. With the help of many volunteers and a diligent board of directors, attendance has grown to 30,000-plus each season and maintains a professional level. The 2013 season will close with “The Producers” running Sept. 5-21.

For the first time, the largest and most important commercial aviation networking forum of its kind will be held in the United States and make its debut in Las Vegas Oct. 5-8.
