The well-dressed comedian Bobby Collins will headline at the Ramada Express in the Pavilion Theater on Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2. Audiences will enjoy his brand of emotional and physical humor that focuses on the monologue style he used as the host on the VH1 hit show, "Stand-Up Spotlight." Tickets are $15.

Before his comedy career, Collins was a Vice President for Calvin Kline pulling down a six-figure salary and riding in limousines. He gave it all up for his first love... comedy.

Collins has diversified his efforts to include: national ad campaigns for Certs; television appearances on "L.A. Law," "Sisters," and "Herman's Head;" in addition to his big screen work in the movies "Indecent Proposal," "Heroes," and "Car 54... Where Are You?" Collins' current projects include development of his own sitcom.

The Beach Boys will bring their classic California rock 'n roll hits to the Flamingo Laughlin Amphitheater for a concert on Saturday, June 1. The group's first hit, "Surfin'," in 1961, launched a string of chart-topping songs that span nearly 30 years. Concert tickets are $30, $35 and$40, call 1-800-435-8469 or 702-298-5111.

The Beach Boys were honored at the 2001 Grammy Awards with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy. The band opened this year's tour by performing a free concert at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. The group will perform more than 30 of their this songs in an energetic hour-and-forty-minute show.

Future headliners at the Flamingo Laughlin include: Eddie Money on June 29; Roberta Flack on Aug. 30; Lorrie Morgan and Sammy Kershaw on Sept. 14; The Four Tops on Sept. 21; Neil Sedaka on Oct. 5; Terri Clark on Oct. 16; The Smothers Brothers on Nov. 2; and Kenny Rogers on Nov. 10.

The Tyson vs. Lewis match-up can be viewed on big screen televisions in Harrah's Hacienda Grande Ballroom on June 8. Tickets are $30 with non-smoking, general admission seating only. Doors open at 6 p.m.

On June 1 and 2, approximately 30 Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour drivers will compete for their share of a combined purse of more than $40,000 during Laughlin River Days. The drivers will power $60,000 boats at speeds of up to 135 mph on a 1.25-mile course on the Colorado River. Boat drivers will experience up to 4 Gs of centrifugal force.

The Laughlin event kicks off the 2002 season of Formula One Boat Racing and will air on prime time ESPN2 on June 16, 21 and 28 and again on Nov. 10. The Laughlin event is the only tour stop on the Southwest United States. Spectators find Formula One boat racing particularly exciting because the boats have a shallow draft and can race quite close to the shore.

In addition to the Formula One races, River Days will include two days of competition among 60 of the world's best watercraft athlete vying for national championships and cash awards. In the freestyle competition, athletes perform two-minute judged flat-water routines. The Pro Water Craft Tour racers speed along a closed course in side-by-side personal watercraft racing competition. The 2002 Pro Water Craft Tour stops will air on the Speed Channel on Tuesdays from June 25 through Aug. 27.
