If you're looking for a quiet getaway close to Laughlin where you can see Native American petroglyphs, you'll want to visit Grapevine Canyon. Petroglyphs adorn the walls of this canyon located near Christmas Tree Pass northwest of town. The mouth of the pass is situated up the western incline behind Laughlin about ten miles outside of town.

There is a two-mile gravel road leading to the trailhead off Hwy 163. The canyon was named for the abundant wild grape plants found in the area. A short walk from the parking lot is required to reach the rock markings that are fragile and should be respected and not touched.
