Kenny Chesney's "Guitars, Tiki Bars + Whole Lotta Love Tour" will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on June 12 with special guests Rascal Flatts and Uncle Kracker. Tickets are $45, $65 and $85; call Ticketmaster 702-474-4000.

Chesney's tour is promoting his new album "When the Sun Goes Down." This triple platinum singer / songwriter has had five Academy of Country Music Award nominations and been voted one of People Magazine's 10 Sexiest Men Alive.

Rascal Flatts is a country trio and Uncle Kracker is known for his breakthrough single "Follow Me."

"Tony n' Tina" celebrated their third year of wedded bliss at the Rio by renewing their vows for five more years.

"Tony n' Tina's Wedding," the longest current running show in Off Broadway history having opened more than 17 years ago, has played at the Rio since Jan. 31, 2002, and will remain a fixture in the Rio's Calypso room until February 2009.

During their past two years at the Rio, Tony n' Tina have walked down the aisle more than 800 times in front of more than 200,000 guests. The interactive show gives audiences a chance to attend an actual satirical Italian-American wedding in which there is a ceremony, reception, guests and lots of improvisation. The show has played in more than 40 American cities.

"La Femme" (pronounced "La Fahm"), the sexy French revue that has been at the MGM Grand for three successful years with nearly 1,700 performances, will re-introduce the show with seven new numbers in May.

"La Femme" is an exact replica of the acclaimed show Crazy Horse in Paris. The production is famous for celebrating beautiful women and the art of the nude since 1951. All 12 of La Femme's dancers, who are members of the original Crazy Horse dance troupe, are expertly trained in ballet. La Femme dancers elegantly balance sensuous choreography with skin bathed in a kaleidoscope of colors and textured designs. Shows are performed nightly except Tuesday at 8 and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $59 plus taxes and fees and a show program is included, call 800-929-1111 or 702-891-7777.

Unauthorized Ozzy: Ozzy Osbourne tribute band, will visit The Hideaway Showroom at the Silverton on May 15. Tickets are $9.99, call 1-866-946-4373 or 702-914-8557.

Ozzy Osbourne, born John Osbourne, grew up in England and in 1969, he and his band mates branded themselves Black Sabbath after the heavy, doom-laden music they produced. In 1979, Osbourne pursued a successful solo career. Most recently, Osbourne has seen his star rise as the patriarch in MTV's reality show, "The Osbournes."

Unauthorized Ozzy pays tribute to this rock legend. The band's lead singer, Peter Marrino, has branded himself "The Greatest Ozzy Impersonator on Earth."

Simon and Garfunkel will return to the MGM Grand Garden on July 3. Tickets are $75, $175 and $250; call Ticketmaster 702-474-4000.

Lynyrd Skynyrd's "30th Anniversary Tour" will invade the Aladdin Theatre on July 10. Tickets range from $36.85 to $68.35, call Ticketmaster 702-785-5000.

Asian superstar Gary Valenciano is a singer, composer, music arranger and producer, dancer actor. His Filipino-English event at the Aladdin on June 13 will include a repertoire of songs from his many platinum-selling albums in the Philippines. Tickets range from $40 to $105.10.

Josh Groban will sing on Aug. 21 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Tickets range from $40 to $115, call Ticketmaster 702-632-7580.

The George Clinton concert scheduled for the Skin Pool Lounge at the Palms on May 21 has been cancelled.

The Spin Doctors and Gin Blossoms will be the first show of the Summer Concert Series at Mandalay Beach on May 7. Tickets are $25 and $30 the day of show, call 702-632-7580.

The Mandalay Beach Stage rises over the signature sand and surf 1.6 million gallon wavepool. Concert-goers can bring blankets and sit on the 1,700 tons of sands that make up the beach or wade into the surf and listen to the music.

The Beach Boys will perform at the Mandalay Beach pool on June 4 and the B-52's will follow on June 5. Tickets range from $35 to $40 the day of the show.

The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay is always running a strong concert schedule: J-Kwon late night on May 16; Cypress Hill on June 3; Mary Chapin Carpenter and Jim Lauderdale on June 11; Bill Maher on June 26; Heart on Aug. 7; and Chris Isaak on Aug. 28, to name only a few.

The Cannery in North Las Vegas has announced its spring and summer concert lineup: Jerry Butler, The Impressions, Eddie Holman on May 22; Blackhawk on June 25; Gene Pitney with special guest The Lovin' Spoonful on July 2 and 3; and David Clayton Thomas and Blood Sweat & Tears on July 31. Jay Leno will be taping his NBC show from the Paris Hotel, May 10-14. "The Tonight Show" will tape one show each day from Le Théâtre des Arts, with a live studio audience and the shows will air that same night. A limited number of complimentary tickets are available for the five shows on a first come-first served basis at the Paris Box Office.

The Riviera, which became the first high-rise casino on the Las Vegas Strip with a nine-story tower, quietly celebrated its 49th birthday on April 20. In anticipation of the 50th birthday next year, the Riviera will soon announce plans for its golden celebration, which will feature many casino promotions and special events. The hotel has plans to name 50 of its finest suites after top-name headliners who have played at the resort. There is currently a Frank Sinatra Suite.

"Celebrity Images" is the Motown and R&B tribute show headed for the Lady Luck downtown on May 15.

Two, 12-foot 60 pound Burmese Pythons are on display for a limited time at a temporary home at Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay while the Las Vegas Natural History Museum renovates their permanent residence. The Burmese Python is one of the six largest snakes in the world and is native to Southeast Asia. It kills by constricting its prey and can swallow an animal five times as wide as it's head.

Shark Reef is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets are $15.95 for adults and $9.95 for children; children four and under are free, call 702-632-4555.

Racing legend Mario Andretti was in town recently to lend his name to the racing school formerly known as Driving 101 that operates at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It is now the Mario Andretti Racing School.

The Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group will be opening a new restaurant, The Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grille, in June at the MGM Grand. It will provide a casual California dining style and serve American cuisine.

Chinois at the Forum Shops is getting a sleek new hip, contemporary look that will be ready by early summer.

Valenino Las Vegas' Executive Chef Luciano Pellegrini is the only chef in Las Vegas to be nominated as The American Express Best Chef: Southwest Category at the James Beard Awards, often referred to as the culinary world's Oscars. The annual awards ceremony will be held on May 10 in New York City. This is Pellegrini's second nomination in a row for this category.

A top executive left the Venetian after nine years to develop a new Las Vegas Strip resort on 8.5 acres at Harmon Avenue. The yet unnamed resort will be a mixed-used project with retail, a hotel, timeshare and entertainment center and a casino component on a U-shaped parcel near the Jockey Club, a 270-suite, 10-story timeshare development.

The three million-square-foot development will include about 80,000 square feet of casino space, a 1,500-room hotel with 400 to 500 condominium units, a separate tower with 300 time-share unites, 300,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and underground parking for about 3,000 cars.

It's anticipated that it will take 12 to 18 months to break ground and about two years to complete the project. One tower will be placed close to the Strip.

Tropicana guests now have two different ways to win vacation cruises aboard Carnival Cruise Lines to a destination of their choice.

One way is to cruise up to one of two Free Pull Slot Machines located outside the main casino entrance and on the MGM walkway and line up three "Cruise" symbols on the lucky pay line. The winner will receive a seven-day cruise aboard Carnival Cruise Lines. Other prizes include free show tickets and every pull is a winner because they receive free admission for the Casino Legends Hall of Fame and a deck of playing cards.

The second opportunity is by entering a drawing. The only requirement is entrants must be members of the Tropicana's Winners Club. Each member is allowed one drawing ticket a day through the Promotion Center. Each new drawing day starts at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00 a.m. Every last Thursday of every month at 8:00 p.m., a winning ticket is picked and winners don't have to be present to win. The Jubilee! All Access Backstage Walking Tour offers guests an opportunity to get behind the scenes of one of Las Vegas' longest-running production shows. In addition, the tours are given by a Jubilee! showgirl!

Tours are conducted at 2 pm. on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Tickets are $10 with the purchase of a Jubilee! show ticket and $15 without. You must be 13 years or older to take the tour.

Child Focus and JW Marriott Resort in Summerlin have teamed up to host a Mother's Day Tea on Saturday, May 8 from 1-4 p.m. in the Valencia Ballroom. The fundraising event will include a high tea, a fashion show, silent auction, children's entertainment and a fancy hat parade. Adult tickets are $35 and $25 for children 12 and under, call 436-1624.

Talent industry executive Kim Flowers is presenting auditions for talent ages five to 25 with Los Angeles based casting director Doug Wright at John Robert Powers on May 8 and 9.
