Don Laughin's Riverside and Bu-La Productions will present a Beatles Tribute by RAIN from April 25 - 30, at 8 p.m. nightly. Tickets are $25, call 1-800-227-3849.

RAIN got their start in Los Angeles in 1975, and like other bands, they wanted to write and record their own original music. Unlike other bands, RAIN had a second goal to become the best band in the world at duplicating the complete sound of the Beatles from A to Z. Each band member has an impressive background.

Joey Curatolo portrays Paul McCarthey. At age 17, he entered the Beatles sound-alike contest at the Beatlefest convention in New York City and won. He went on to perform in the Broadway show "Beatlemania."

Steve Landes first captured the spotlight 12 years ago as a member of the Broadway show "Beatlemania" and toured for five years before starring in the Las Vegas revue "Legends in Concert."

Joe Bithorn from his beginnings as a session musician in New York City at the age 16, to his second year stint touring with "Beatlemania," has become known as one of the best lead guitarists in the business.

Ralph Castelli was an original cast member of the Los Angeles production of "Beatlemania" and toured with the show for five years. The producers of "Beatlemania" handpicked him to star in the motion picture version of the stage show.

Mark Lewis on keyboards and percussion is the founding member of RAIN. The Beatles were a four-piece group, but throughout their career, the Beatles would often employ strings, horns, or an entire orchestra. This is where Lewis comes in.

The Colorado Belle from April 20 through 23 will be "Rockin' on the River" in the outdoor Center Circle event area. Free live entertainment will be provided by three blues bands including the legendary Michael Burks, The Nighthawks, and John Earl & The BoogieMan Band playing two sets daily, plus comedian Ruben Quintana performing between band sets.

There'll be food, beer, and Jack Daniel's products, plus a bevy of beautiful women competing for the titles of "Biker's Choice" and "Miss Hawaiian Tropic Laughlin." For $5 on Friday, April 22 from 3 to 6 p.m., you can have your photo taken with Miss Hawaiian Tropic contestants and receive a ballot to vote for your favorite to win "Biker's Choice." The title contest will be held on April 23 at 6 p.m. and the winner will receive $1,200 cash and a $200 gift certificate.

These events coincide with the annual spring bike run that draws motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country. Specially minted $5 commemorative gaming chips will be available for purchase at the casino's Main Cage and be circulated at the live table games.

On April 12, Harrah's will launch new daily tournaments in its poker room. Poker players may sign up for any of these tournaments at the poker room at least one hour prior to tournament start.

The following tournaments will be featured: Texas Hold 'em with a $20 buy-in, $10 unlimited re-buys, and a $20 add-on weekly at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday. and Friday; and No Limit Hold 'em with a $60 buy-in tournament featuring $20 unlimited re-buys and a $40 add-on held weekly at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday.

Beginning May 1, the poker room will begin featuring more tournaments. A No Limit Hold 'em $40 buy-in tournament featuring $20 unlimited re-buys and a $20 add-on will be available weekly at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. A No Limit Hold 'Em $100 buy-in tournament featuring one $50 re-buy will be held weekly at 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

The Flamingo Laughlin will kick off the River Run with legendary rockers John Kay and Steppenwolf performing on April 21 at 9 p.m. Tickets are $20, $25 and $30 plus tax.

John Kay & Steppenwolf first emerged in the late 1960s and have since sold over 25 million records worldwide. The band's leader, John Kay was born in 1944 in Germany, where he was introduced to American rock 'n' roll as a result of World War II and the U.S. Armed Forces Radio. He created Steppenwolf and they released their first album in 1968 and topped the charts with "Born to Be Wild."

In the next three years, Steppenwolf recorded five albums including the hit, "Magic Carpet Ride," yet they disbanded in 1972 and re-launched in 1980 as John Kay & Steppenwolf.

Styx will perform at the Flamingo Laughlin Amphitheater on April 22 and 23 at 9 p.m. Tickets for April 22 are $28, $33 and $38 and for April 23 $30, $35 and $40 plus tax.

For more than 25 years, Styx, whose name was derived from the mythological river, has been in the musical spotlight. The group has continuously toured the country since the release of their most recent album, "Brave New World."

Harrah's will go full throttle with entertainment during the town-wide Laughlin River Run, April 21-24. Harrah's Rio Vista Outdoor Amphitheater will feature a performance by '70s rock 'n' roll artist, Eddie Money on Friday, April 22.

Tickets are $20, $25, $30. Harrah's nightclub, Baja Blue After Dark (BBAD), will have live music, drink specials and more.

In the late '60s, this New York City born native did a short stint with the N.Y.P.D., and then headed to California to pursue a music career. In 1975, famed manager-promoter Bill Graham signed Money and two years later produced his first album, self-titled, "Eddie Money." The album produced one of his first top 40 hits, "Two Tickets To Paradise." Money has recorded 12 albums and sold more than 12 million records worldwide.

Harrah's south-of-the-border restaurant, Baja Blue, transforms into BBAD, the hotel's nightclub venue. On April 22 and 23, from 10:30 p.m. till closing, BBAD will feature live music with the New York cover group, American Banned, drink specials, best leather contests, a bike display and more. Harrah's will host its first Sexiest Leather Outfit contest each night awarding $300, $150, and $50.

Admission is $5 per person at the door or box office. BBAD patrons will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a Harrah's 2006 Laughlin River Run Getaway each evening.

Harrah's will host Jeff Foxworthy at the Rio Vista Outdoor Amphitheater at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Foxworthy's southern humor rocketed him to fame in the 1990s especially with his popular "You Might Be A Redneck If..." routine.

Tickets are $35, $40, $45 at Harrah's Box Office.

The multiple Grammy Award nominee and author of 11 books is the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history. He can now be seen in the comedy series, "Blue Collar TV" that he created specifically for the WB Network.

In January 2005, moviegoers heard Foxworthy's distinctive drawl as the voice of Reggie the Rooster in the Warner Brothers film, "Racing Stripes." He can also be heard in the Disney movie sequel, "Fox and The Hound II."
