From there, he went on to star in hits including "The World According to Garp," and to earn Academy Award nominations for "Good Morning Vietnam," "Dead Poets Society" and "The Fisher King." He won the 1997 Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his role as Dr. Sean McGuire in "Good Will Hunting."
