ABC NEWS TO TELEVISE SIEGFRIED & ROY'S FINAL PERFORMANCE

Siegfried & Roy, Magicians of The Century, will perform their final, highly-anticipated night of magic at the "Power of Love" Gala fundraiser for the local Lou Ruvo Brain Institute foundation on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Bellagio. ABC News is producing "Siegfried & Roy: The Magic Returns," a special edition of "20/20" about the Las Vegas entertainment icons and their farewell performance, scheduled to air 9 p.m. ET Friday, March 6, and be anchored by Elizabeth Vargas. Building completion of the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute, designed by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, is projected by mid-2009. It will be the premier research and treatment facility for all chronic brain disorders.

MONSTER CIRCUS OPENS VIRTUAL BIG TOP AT THE LAS VEGAS HILTON

Platinum Masters' Monster Circus will open at the Las Vegas Hilton on Thursday, March 19. This original spectacle will combine a high-octane live rock concert with sexy dancers, human circus acts, aerialists, freaks and of course, a tour bus full of platinum certified rock stars. An irreverent ringmaster along with Sicko The Clown, Monster Circus' mascot, will lead the audience along the 75-minute journey through the powerhouse rock and metal anthems of the '70s, '80s and '90s.

Rock star debauchery will begin with an all-star lineup of the Circus band featuring artists Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, Dio), John Corabi (M”tley Cre, Ratt), Fred Coury (Cinderella), Bruce Kulick (KISS), and Tony Montana (Great White). Various guest artists will "join the circus" and perform the hits they personally rock out to, creating an evolving set list. In addition, there will be special theme nights dedicated to the songs of a single legendary band.

The circus will be in town six times a month on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights with 11 p.m. shows. March dates will be 19-21 and 26-28 with after-show parties that will keep the circus going. Tickets are $39-$66, and a VIP package is $86, call 800-222-5361.

PAUL McCARTNEY WILL OPEN THE NEW JOINT AT THE HARD ROCK

The legendary multi-Grammy award winning Paul McCartney will headline the grand opening weekend of the New Joint at the Hard Rock on Sunday, April 19. Tickets are on sale, call 800-745-3000.

The $60 million New Joint will be double in size while keeping the same atmosphere of the original venue with the furthest seat in the house being only 155 feet from the stage. It will be a multi-purpose facility featuring an innovative lighting system, WiFi access throughout the venue, a full blogging station for press covering events, and 38 flat screens.

6TH ANNUAL RACEJAM WILL TAKE OVER FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE

The 6th annual RaceJam will take place at the Fremont Street Experience downtown, Feb. 27-29, over NASCAR race weekend. RaceJam will feature free live concerts on two stages and NASCAR merchandise booths. Tony Marques and his country rock band, country artist Trent Tomlinson, country rock group S”uthern Ste, the Artimus Pyle Band, rock 'n' rollers HighWire, the five-member Speaks Brothers, and Emmyr Award-winning country artist TJ Weaver will provide the free outdoor entertainment.

CASHETTA STARS IN 'MAGIC'S A DRAG' AT HARMON THEATER

"Magic's a Drag" starring Cashetta, the Queen of Magic, will open on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Harmon Theater located at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. Cashetta gives magic a new twist as one of the only female impersonator magicians in the world. His act includes cards that disappear and reappear in unlikely places, a five-foot balloon trick, and a gypsy rope illusion. He even teaches an audience member, dressed in drag, to perform an illusion. Tickets for the 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, shows are $44.95 and $59.95.

Cashetta, aka Scott Weston, has headlined at the Crown & Anchor in Provincetown, Mass., for the past three seasons, at Cinema Paradiso in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Caroline's Comedy Club on Broadway, Windstar Cruise Lines, Atlantis Events and toured internationally with his one "woman" show.

"Magic's a Drag" replaces the highly successful "Lucky Cheng's Dinner Caberet," which ends its three-year engagement at the Harmon Theater on Feb. 14.

KRISTAL D'ARC IS FIRST AMERICAN DANCER JOINS 'CRAZY HORSE PARIS'

The MGM Grand's "Crazy Horse Paris" is debuting Kristal D'Arc, the first American dancer to join the illustrious French cabaret revue.

D'Arc earned her position within the esteemed dance troupe by winning the American auditions held in Las Vegas in March 2008. After winning, D'Arc spent three months in Paris learning all of the intricate and sophisticated movements and styles associated with the show that creates a moving canvas of skin. She is a former Rockette with a hotel management degree.

STUDIO AT THE PALMS ADDS IMMEDIATE LIVE CONTENT TECHNOLOGY

The Studio at the Palms has a new partnership with Aderra Inc., adding the next generation of content delivery to the already state-of-the-art recording studio located inside the Palms. Through Aderra's "Live in a Flash" USB Technology, the Palms can offer immediate live recordings of events including concerts, conferences, live DJ sets and other happenings throughout the resort. The Palms will become the first property in the world to adopt this new technology allowing patrons to leave an event with a USB flash drive loaded with their live experience in a wristband, key fob and other custom styles.

TOWER OF POWER BRINGS MOTOWN SOUND TO THE ORLEANS

"Motown's Soul Band" - Tower of Power will bring its time-tested funk to the Orleans Showroom for three nights, March 6-8 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are priced from $34.95, call 702-365-7075.

With almost 40 years of recording and touring experience, Tower of Power has been issuing albums and touring the world steadily since the early '70s, in addition to backing up countless other musicians like Elton John, Smokey Robinson and Rod Stewart. Founded in 1967, the group's leader has been tenor saxophonist Emilio Castillo, who was born in Detroit, but opted to pursue his musical dreams in Oakland, Calif. It was there that he put together a group called "The Motowns" that specialized in the '60s era soul. Eventually Castillo teamed up with a baritone sax player named Stephen "Doc" Kupka and transformed the group into Tower of Power.

Over the past few years, Tower of Power has added new members and a fresh outlook, but the band has always remained true to itself and to its soul music roots.

'LA CAGE' HAS CLOSED AT THE RIVIERA

This week due to the devastating economy and without fanfare, Norbert Aleman, producer of "La Cage" at the Riviera closed the famous show after a 24-year run. Frank Marino has hosted the show and starred as Joan Rivers while the rest of the cast impersonated dozens of female celebrities. Aleman is in negotiations with television producers for a backstage-drama type of reality show and hopes to come back to the Riviera soon and reopen the show.

O'BRIEN & VALDEZ HEADLINE RIVIERA COMEDY CLUB

O'Brien & Valdez, a sighted Chicago Irishman and blind Mexican from California, will headline at the Riviera Comedy Club with fellow comedians Hiram Kasten and Sandy Stec for seven nights, March 2-8. Tickets for the nightly 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. shows are $24.99, call 702-794-9433.

The duo from diverse backgrounds, Jim O'Brien and Alex Valdez, have opened for Jerry Reed, The Smothers Brothers, Louise Mandrell, Lou Rawls, Paul Rodriquez and Sawyer Brown. Television audiences have enjoyed their work on The Comedy Channel, Showtime's "Latino Laugh Festival," "A & E On The Road," "Music City Tonight," "48 Hours," and "Comic Strip Live," among other shows.

Kasten created and starred in his own Off-Broadway show, "Whose Act Is It Anyway?" and directed the award-winning show, "Other Than My Health I have Nothing." Stec currently hosts her own midday radio show.

STEEL PANTHER ROCKS WEEKLY AT TWO STATIONS RESORTS

Due to their success playing every Friday night since June at the Ovation inside Green Valley Ranch at 11 p.m., the heavy metal band Steel Panther is now performing in the 600-seat Access Showroom every Saturday night at 10 p.m. at the new Aliante Station in North Las Vegas. Formed in 1983, Steel Panther has become widely known for their wild and crazy antics, pristine hairdos and flashy spandex costumes that don't leave much to the imagination, and graphic body language. Their debut CD will come out on June 9.

Steel Panther is teaming up with comedian Brian Posehn, best known for his roles as the mail clerk on NBC's "Just Shoot Me!" and as Brian Spukowski on Comedy Central's "The Sarah Silverman Program," to film the music video for "Death To All But Metal." The group is also in discussions with Jeff Tremaine, producer of "Jack Ass," to create a true-to-life TV show concept and movie.

Elton John will return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for his final engagement, April 7-22, of his original hit show "The Red Piano" that debuted at the resort on Feb. 14, 2004. "The Red Piano" was initially booked for 75 shows over three years. Completing the original commitment in only 18 months, Caesars Palace extended the agreement for an additional 166 shows bringing the total to 241 performances. Exclusively at Best Buy, "The Red Piano" is available on a 2 DVD/2CD set that includes 14 songs and a documentary about the making of the show.

Impressionist, singer and entertainer Gordie Brown's new headlining show "Gordie Brown Live" has opened at the Golden Nugget downtown in a 60-seat theater named after the artist. He was signed last September to a multi-year headlining contract while he was touring North America with Celine Dion. Ticket prices start at $39.95.

Cher at Caesars Palace

Cher is returning to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with a room and show package being available from Feb. 22 through March 20. The offer starts at $239 and includes two tickets to Cher's show and a one-night stay, call 800-727-5019.

Zowie Bowie

After building up a following at the Red Rock Resort, the duo Zowie Bowie comprised of Chris Phillips and Marley Taylor are expected to debut at the Palms on March 6 in a lounge.

Tickets to Disney's "The Lion King" will go on sale Saturday, Feb. 28, with a special on-sale event at the Mandalay Bay Events Center box office from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Purchasing guests will receive commemorative gifts during the event, while supplies last, and the first 100 folks in line will receive a full-length CD of the musical. Tickets will be $53, $86 and $113.50. All other outlets, phone and online sales will launch sales at 10 a.m.

Earlier this month, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino celebrated another milestone in its $750 million expansion with a topping off ceremony of its second tower, the 15-story South Tower with 374 suites and eight "spa villas."

Grammy nominated Little Big Town will bring their country vocals to Sam's Town Live at Sam's Town on Boulder Highway on Saturday, Feb. 28 following the Sam's Town 300 NASCAR race. Tickets begin at $25.

On Thursday, Feb. 26 at 6 p.m. at Sam's Town Live, the Annual Speedway Children's Charities NASCAR Drivers Auction will be held with many drivers making an appearance.

The Mirage has introduced the newest addition to Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden animal family, a leopard cub named Java, who was born on Nov. 19, 2008, and is the offspring of two leopards living in the habitat, Asabi and Mu-gamba.

Lena Prima will perform her inspiring tribute to her father, legendary Italian singer Louis Prima in "Louis Prima, That's My Dad!" at The Club inside the Cannery in North Las Vegas on March 6 and 7 at 8 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door. The Las Vegas native is the daughter of Prima and singer Gia Maione Prima. She grew up singing and dancing on stage and touring with her parents.

The new Eastside Cannery on Boulder Highway is offering "Fab Thursdays" featuring Beatles tribute band, The Fab, in Marilyn's Lounge. Beatles fans can enjoy three free 45-minute sets from 7 to 10 p.m.

Funnyman Dana Carvey will appear at the Suncoast Showroom, Feb. 20-22. Tickets for his 8 p.m. shows are $74.95, $89.95 and $104.95.

The new Bonkerz Comedy Club at Palace Station will feature James Yon with Drew Barth, Feb. 19-21. TV credits for Yon, who is a Florida native and professional chef, include appearances on HBO and NBC's "Stand Up for Diversity."

The Cirque du Soleil Cultural Action Department has opened the 5th Annual 'Collective' art exhibition with more than 30 pieces representing a range of art styles created by cast, crew and staff members from Cirque du Soleil productions. The 'Collective' will be on exhibit Feb. 6 - 27 at the Rever Gallery at the Arts Factory downtown at 107 E. Charleston Blvd.
