In 2004, the Colorado Belle will host six golf tournaments at area championship golf courses. Set for February, April, June, September, October and December, the tournaments feature cash team prizes each day as well as prizes for winners of closest-to-the-hole and longest putt contests, hole-in-one shoots and more.

Entry fee for each event is $300, $400 or $500, based on rated casino play. The entry fee for each tournament includes four days' and three nights' hotel accommodations, 36 holes of golf, continental breakfast, lunch, beverages and range balls at golf course, tee prizes, a welcome pairings party with dinner and drinks, and two award parties with cocktails.

The format of all the tournaments is a four-man scramble. Teams are assigned by handicap and different teams are created each day. Call toll free 877-480-2747 to enter tournaments.

"When We Were Fab, A Tribute to The Beatles," will appear at t he Ramada Express, Feb. 23 - 26 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $17.50 per person.

This tribute to the Beatles showcases the talents of the stars of Broadway's "Beatlemania" and offers a chance to re-live history through their songs plus media clips and still shots projected on the Pavilion's four theater- sized screens.

From the innocence of "I Want to Hold Your Hand," "Eight Days a Week," and "Twist and Shout" to the psychedelic era of "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," the Beatles were the flag bearers of a generation.

The Laughlin Bay Marina has finished the first phase of its $100 million development in Laughlin. Phase one was all the work in the water and the construction of 110 boat slips that may be available for rental and usage as early as mid-April.

Phase two is currently underway and it includes a lighted sign, a lighted boardwalk, paving of the Marina Lagoon Drive entrance, a gatehouse, restrooms, parking lots and a temporary modular building for security. These projects are expected to be completed by April.

This month, construction is beginning on an administrative building, a clubhouse and a dry boat storage building. These three buildings should be complete in either July or August.

Phase three will be the building of 240 town homes at a price tag of $80 million. This phase is expecting to have a 2005 completion date.

The first two phases of the project will cost $20 million. The marina entrance is located off Needles Highway approximately 400 feet west of Casino Drive. For information or pursuing a boat slip, call toll free 1-866-5-LAGOON from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PST.
