The Oak Ridge Boys will headline at the Riverside, Feb. 22-27, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $32.50, call 1-800-227-3849.
The Oak Ridge boys started in 1943 in Knoxville, Tenn. singing country and gospel music. Their original name was the Oak Ridge Quartet, named after nearby Oak Ridge. By 1945, the band was performing at the Grand 'Ole Opry on a regular basis. Later the same year, the quartet was featured in "Time Magazine" as one of the top drawing gospel groups in the nation.
Over the years, the quartet became the Oak Ridge Boys, and over 30 members have come and gone as they presented gospel music with the feeling of rock and a pop edge. In 1977, the Oak Ridge Boys changed country music forever with their "Ya'll Come Back Saloon," when they broke the traditional country mold.

Nevada artist Stoll creates ceramic vessels with natural sand finishes. She works in a wide range of sizes, from large urns to small ornaments, decorating each with leather and beads.

Back by popular demand at the Belle, Kenny Menard's authentic zydeco band will provide free live entertainment beginning at 6 p.m. each evening, April 9-10, in the Colorado Belle's Center Circle Event Area. Described as the collision and fusion between Louisiana Cajun tunes and Creole Afro-Caribbean rhythms and styles, zydeco is a musical mainstay in the south, and a hot music style on the West Coast. Menard and band will be accompanied by Mardi Gras bead-tossing "Louisiana Sue" Ramon, the band's saucy emcee.
In addition to great music, Center Circle's evening activities will include New Orleans style street vendors such as a caricaturist, a face painter and a tarot card reader.
The Kokopelli Lounge at the Edgewater will also feature free live entertainment in the evenings with "The Kid & Nick," a great jazzy-swing duo.
