Don Laughlin's Riverside is promoting its Diamonds or Cash Daily Giveaway from Feb. 1-28. You can win your choice of a set of his and hers diamond rings valued at $3,000 or $1,500 in cash. The dazzling diamonds are on display at The Watch Man, the world's largest watch store.

You can earn one entry ticket for every 100 points earned at a single rate on reel, video poker and keno machines. Tickets may also be earned for table games, poker, bingo, keno, and race and sports. Drawings will be conducted at 5 p.m. in the South Tower Promotional Area each evening starting Feb.1.

Official rules are available at the King of Club Players' Club booth. Must be 21 or older to participate. Management reserves all rights.

The Flamingo's Paradise Garden Buffet honored its two-millionth guest with a surprise commemorative gift earlier this month. The buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friday nights feature a Seafood Buffet and Thursday offers an All Night Buffet from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. for $4.99. All members of the Connection Club players' club receive $2 off the price of all buffets when they present their club card. In addition, free wine and beer is offered at dinner buffets for all diners 21 years and older.

The Laughlin / Bullhead City International Airport has experienced a steady increase in its passenger count over the past five years. To accommodate the soaring number of passengers, the airport is currently under construction to expand the terminal so it can handle the growing number of bodies coming through the terminal. The project happening in February and March should double the capacity for holding people.

Another project the airport is gearing up for in 2005 is to start building a shopping center.

It's almost a tradition now that you pay a visit to the Watch Man store inside the Riverside and sign up for the hourly drawings that begin daily at 11 a.m. and continue until 10 p.m. The prizes are watches of all descriptions including Elgins and Seikos worth $250, souvenir Watch Man mugs, caps, rings and sunglasses. The drawing winner gets to spin the "Wheel-Of-Watches" (WOW) to determine the prize.

No purchase is necessary to enter; however, you must be present to win and be over 18 years of age to win. You can get an entry form at the store and sign up.

The River Palms offers "Monday Mania" as an ongoing promotion for Players' Club members. Every Monday, qualifying members may go to the Player's Club booth and spin the prize wheel. Dick Cloud is the event promoter of the annual Cloud's Jamboree now and he is the son of the event's original founders. His folks started the gem and mineral show in the late '60s. After they passed away, the show was closed for many years. Cloud reopened the show in Quartzsite in 1988 and moved it to Laughlin four years ago.

The show runs in various locations both inside and outside many casinos. At the Riverside, the event is running in the South Parking Lot in a large ten through Jan. 30. It will continue even longer through Feb. 6, at the Avi, where 130 vendors are promoting their wares north of the main casino.

At the Pioneer, the "Hard Hat Horsepower Giveaway" will end on Jan. 31, when the drawing is held at 8 p.m. for the grand prize, which is a 2004 Dodge 2500 SLT Quad Cab pickup truck. Entries can be earned through casino play. See the Round-Up Club booth for details.

The River Palms is giving away one of three 2005 model Ford vehicles in a promotion running through Jan. 30. The winner will have their choice of a Ford Escape, Ranger or Focus. You can get information at the Players' Club booth.

Qualifying drawings will begin at the River Palms on Friday, Jan. 28 and run through a 12:30 p.m. drawing on Sunday, Jan. 30. At each of the drawings, 17 names will be selected and they must be present to compete in a three-minute, mini-slot tournament with the top 10 scores from each session qualifying for a coverall session of bingo to be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 30. The first person to hit the overall at the grand finale wins the car of their choice.

At the Avi, the promotion is the "$6,000 Super Cash Giveaway," with the top prize being $3,000 in cash. Drawings will be held on Friday, Jan. 28, at 5:30, 6 and 6:30 p.m. for $500 cash prizes; at 7 p.m. for $1,000; and 8 p.m. for $3,000. A "second chance" drawing for an additional $500 will be held at 9 p.m. Winners must be present. Drawing tickets can be earned with every 100 points earned on a player's Advantage Club card.
